English as a Second Language (ESL) Ministry

Greensboro is a resettlement center for refugees, people who are fleeing political and/or religious oppression in their countries of origin. We meet on Wednesdays, 7-8:30 pm to tutor immigrants from Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal and African nations. We teach English, about life in the U.S., and above all the love of Christ. We need both teachers and conversation partners willing to invest time and love in newcomers to our city. You do NOT have to be a trained teacher to help with this ministry!
