Please review our Mercy Ministry Objectives

• The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will give us fuel and focus as we serve the needs of others.
• Our mercy ministries will be as relational as possible.
• Ministries of mercy involve relief, rehabilitation and development; therefore our Mercy Team will avoid an overemphasis on any one aspect.
• In planning and approving mercy ministry initiatives, our Mercy Team will balance serving the different populations in Greensboro (e.g. those facing homelessness, refugees, and low-income residents).
• Ministries of mercy involve short-term, medium-term and long-term commitments; therefore we will be careful in stewarding our resources (people, finances, facilities, time), and sensitive about our ability to make good on commitments.
• When taking on longer-term projects, we will equip others to ensure future leadership.
