Mary: Simplicity, Surrender & Sorrow

Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a fascinating and controversial figure in history and scripture. The controversy arises over centuries old teaching that Mary was given special powers and privileges during and after her life on earth. We look briefly at these special endowments. The great lessons of her life are located in our text, Luke 1:26-38. We will consider the kind of person Mary was and how her life is an example for us.
