Our Vision: To create a culture where women engage with one another, encounter Jesus and are equipped for serving and reaching others.
Engage One Another: Women engage each other when we learn the Bible together. Social events throughout the year also facilitate new and old relationships. These events include brunches, desserts, an annual wreath making event in December and serving together in mercy ministry events like Dare 2 Share (an annual clothing give away). W2W promotes several formal events in hopes that women will spontaneously create other opportunities for relational connection.
Encounter Jesus: Women encounter Jesus when we are grounded in the truth of God’s word through Bible studies, small groups and discipleship relationships. W2W places a priority on promoting the love and study of the Bible. By meeting in large group Bible studies and small informal groups, we learn God’s word in the context of discussing it with one another. In addition to offering studies in the Fall and Spring, W2W hosts other events throughout the year such as an annual women’s retreat and occasional discipleship training.
Equip for Serving and Reaching: W2W desires to not only build strong, vibrant relationships within the church, but to equip women in reaching out to their friends and neighbors outside of the church. We believe that sharing our faith is key to growing our faith. Social events are offered with the intent that women can invite friends. Additionally, several equipping events are offered throughout the year. We hold high the value of caring for the marginalized and poor and strive to integrate tangible activities of caring into every women’s event.
